Larrg aggregates and references publicly available legislative, parliamentary, and government material sourced from official Australian government websites. All source material remains the property of the relevant government, Parliament, or council. Larrg claims no proprietary rights over that material; it provides notifications and intelligence only, and does not reproduce the underlying source documents.

Content is sourced from each parliament, public service, and local government under the relevant jurisdiction's licence:

Parliamentary Privilege

Larrg is not affiliated with any parliament or government agency. Speeches referenced here are proceedings of the relevant parliament. Parliamentary privilege protections that apply to the original proceedings (for example, s.16 of the Parliamentary Privileges Act 1987 for Commonwealth proceedings, or s.9 of the Parliament of Queensland Act 2001) do not necessarily extend to this republication; users should treat third-party republished material as ordinary public commentary rather than privileged speech.

Use of Source Material

The notifications and alerts provided by Larrg are derived from publicly available legislative and parliamentary material. Under section 182A of the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth), a statutory licence covers the reproduction of such material for commercial purposes. Equivalent statutory licences exist in each State and Territory jurisdiction to enable downstream use of Commonwealth, state, and territory legislation.

Larrg provides notifications; it does not reproduce source material. Users seeking to rely on the full text of any bill, regulation, Hansard transcript, or other legislative instrument should consult the original government source, links to which are provided in each notification.

Larrg takes no responsibility for commercial reliance on this material or for decisions made based on it. The notifications and intelligence it provides are for information and monitoring purposes only and must not be treated as legal advice or a substitute for independent verification of the primary source.

Local Government Material

Unlike Commonwealth, state and territory governments, Australian local councils do not publish their website material under a single, uniform copyright licence. Terms vary by council — some publish under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0, others reserve all rights, and most apply a mix depending on the content type. Local governments are also not covered by the government statutory licence scheme.

This variation does not affect Larrg's operation. Under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth), copyright protects against the reproduction of a substantial part of a work — it does not restrict referencing, linking to, or producing transformative intelligence about publicly available material. Larrg does not reproduce council content. It generates notifications and intelligence (summaries, topic tagging, next steps) and links directly to the original page on the council's own website. Because no reproduction occurs, the specific licence terms a council publishes — whether all-rights-reserved, Creative Commons, or mixed — do not constrain this reference-only use. Each council's terms govern reproduction of its material; Larrg does not engage that right.

Users seeking to rely on the full text of any council publication should consult the source council's website, a link to which is provided in each notification.

No Affiliation

Larrg is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representative of any Australian parliament, government department, agency, court, tribunal, or local council. All trademarks, names, and insignia of government bodies remain the property of their respective owners and are referenced solely to identify the source of publicly available information.

Larrg's intelligence aggregates and references publicly available government sources. Information from Larrg does not constitute legal advice. Independent verification is recommended before reliance. Larrg makes no claim or warranty as to the ownership of the information.
